Providence Health & Services Manager - Patient Flow in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Manager - Patient Flow (Nursing Administration Department, Part Time, 0.6FTE, 48 Biweekly Hours/24 Weekly Hours, Night Shifts) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Receive the direct admit requests and assist with the initial screening for placement.
Alert Administrative Supervisor if admission problems arise.
Assist in problem solving, including making arrangements to transfer patients to other destinations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Washington state
5 years acute care registered nurse experience
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and problem solving skills
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Charge nurse/supervisory experience
