Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) Charge (Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to support Independent Living at St. Joseph Residence in Seattle, Washington. This position will be working Monday-Friday, occasional weekends as needed. Day shift hours are flexible.

In this position you will be:
Have overall responsibility for the care of residents and patients in the designated Neighborhood
Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition as appropriate
Work in partnership with residents, family members, and care team to plan and implement care
Lead and coordinate teams
Appropriately delegate assessment, planning and evaluation functions
Foster a learning environment for resident/families, nursing, and other members of the healthcare team including students
Effectively advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote the autonomy, dignity, rights, values and beliefs of those we serve
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
Current CPR certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire
Three (3) years experience as a staff nurse in acute and/or sub-acute care
Nurse delegation to be completed within 30 days of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
1 year rehabilitation and case management experience
1 year experience as a Charge Nurse
