Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher within three (3) years of hire
A RN with twenty (20) years of RN experience will not be required to obtain a BSN
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies:
American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider),
American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), - or-
Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification within 90 days from hire
Sugar Temperature Airway Blood pressure Labwork and Emotional responsibility (STABLE) certification within 6 months upon hire
One (1) year acute care experience working with the patient population similar to department of hire or completion of the specialty residency located at Providence St. Peter Hospital
