Providence Health & Services Director of Nursing - Administration/Women's and Children's Service Line in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Director Nursing (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in the Nursing Administration at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA and Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.
The Director Nursing will provide direct nursing service administration on multiple units ensuring comprehensive nursing services and quality patient care. This position will be overseeing the Women's and Children's Service Line/Administration. Areas of focus include: Special Care Nursery, Pediatrics, L&D, Post Partum, Family Birth Center.
In this position you will:

Develop and maintains departmental customer satisfaction program in accordance with organizational guidelines which exceed guests, family, patient and physician expectations
Develop and maintains departmental quality management program in accordance with organizational guidelines which exceed community standards, including compliance with all laws, regulations and requirements of appropriate licensing and accrediting bodies
Develop a departmental strategic Plan complying with organizational guidelines which identifies objectives for increasing market share and volumes
Manage human resources to achieve the highest levels of performance by retaining and attracting the most competent employees
Comply with PSPH and unit specific infection control, risk management and OSHA guidelines and procedures
Assure compliance with PSPH confidentiality policies. Maintains confidentiality of patient and/or business related information
Promote sensitivity with cultural and religious beliefs
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
Five (5) Acute care (within the last seven years)
Preferred qualification for this position include:
Nurse Management or Director Level Experience
Masters in Nursing
