Providence Health & Services Clinical Nurse Specialist in Torrance, California
Providence is calling a Full Time, Day shift Clinical Nurse Specialist to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance in Torrance, CA.
In this position you will:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a clinical practitioner, consultant, educator and researcher.
Inherent in these role components are concepts of change agent, leader, liaison and role model within Patient Care Services to support the Mission Statement and Core Values of Little Company of Mary Hospital.
The CNS directs the clinical nursing practice in the NICU and consults with staff on complex neonatal critical care issues.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Registered Nurse license
Master’s Degree in Nursing in field of specialization
Certified as CNS in California
Three years recent clinical experience in field of specialization
Active participation in nursing organizations related to field of specialization
Communicate verbally or in writing in English
